Power apps is a Microsoft 365 tool for building apps using little code. These applications can link to various data sources such as SQL, SharePoint, Power BI, Salesforce, OneDrive, Dropbox, Amazon S3 and more. It allows great versatility in terms of accessibility from a computer, phone or tablet. We could therefore see a very beneficial use for a company with staff on the road. Whether it is to create input forms, edit or view data, these applications can be a solution for smaller companies looking for a less expensive option, while offering great flexibility. Power Apps is an attractive solution for businesses that need to capture data from multiple users simultaneously and dynamically.

Several templates are available by default in Power Apps, whether to create tickets for the IT department, for bookings, inventory management or expense tracking. Businesses needs often differ from these or have their own peculiarities; it is also possible to develop a custom application well suited to your needs.

Some basic notions you need to know for Power Apps:

Forms :

NewForm : Resets a form to allow new input

SubmitForm : Can be linked, for example, to a button in order to transmit entered information to the associated database

EditForm: Allows you to edit a form entry
